I've never seen the point of having belief (other than those beliefs that help keep me alive, e.g. belief that a certain thing is dangerous [accepting without direct experience]). Belief is what keeps children and those who haven't sussed out life yet safe, after that it's just a burden to be removed in the clear bright light of observation and experience.
