HEART of the BEHODLER (HOTB) has won more Best Feature Film awards than any other movie on the independent film festival circuit, but has been deemed "too controversial" by distributors for the general public.
The distributors agree that HOTB is a good movie with a riveting and timely story, superb acting, and production values much higher than the actual budget. But they won't risk putting up their own money to promote a movie that might piss off the religious right.
Several distributors have challenged us to create an online buzz by becoming the first independent feature film to be seen by 1 Million viewers on the Internet for FREE.
